After completing a home economics course at East Sydney Tafe College,
Heather started
her working life in the hospitality industry. At the age of 22
Heather quit the city and relocated to her parents farm near "Coffs Harbour, NSW." Several years later
Heather relocated to Grafton NSW and started teaching a home economics course, at the same time studying for a bachelor of education.
In 1985 Heather met here husband Greg Williams and they took off on a trip around Australia in 1988, after the completion of their trip
Heather and Greg got married, built a house at Mullaway NSW and had two children (Todd and Ryan). Six years of suburban bliss and feeling the stress of juggling the kids and full time employment,
Heather and Greg quit their jobs, rented out the house and hit the road. What was to be a 12 month trip became a 5 year adventure of a lifetime. With
Heather developing her own photographic style along the way, she started to create her photo/texture product which she sells Australia wide, with many pieces ultimately ending up overseas.
